A little update

So I really haven't blogged on this blog since a couple friends and I started our blog.
So heres a little family update, really not much to report.

Christmas was great! My brother came up from LA, with his girly friend Nicole. It was a busy week and I was sure glad to be back on schedule when school started up again.
A really good friend of mine, Sara and her beautiful family was here on holiday from Australia. We had a little dinner with friends.
We started hockey up again......seems as if I really never got a break. Kaden will be playing in a few pick up games this February. He's pretty excited about that. And of course as soon as hockey ends baseball is starting. Gawd, does it ever end! So I guess I have all summer to relax with NO sports to attend!
Ryan and I will be married for 5 years this month and will be together for 10 years this May. Boy....10 years! Holy Cow, time flies when your busy having fun! Haaaaa

Spring, Spring hurry and get here! Can't wait to plant my garden at my new house. Sun is shining today and looks fantastic out!

It's been awhile.......

Boy do I have a lot to update on! Kaden played his 1st year of machine pitch this year! I think he enjoyed it a lot more than T-Ball. He loves playing catcher and 1st base. His called him Kaden "the kaboom" Lansing. I asked why, he said it was cause his hit so hard! Funny guy, but he really did hit some damn good hits to the outfield!

I guess this would be where I insert a picture of our new house, but I don't have one! Yikes! But we did buy a new house in April and moved to West Richland. It was a little different, being the Kennewick girl that I am. We have terrific neighbors, and they have kids so the boys have someone to play with. Which has been a godsend! Thank you neighbors!

Kaden had a his 7th birthday in our new house.....not sure why the writing turned blue.....anyway, that handsome man next to him is one of our new neighbors Michael. They are the same age and are going into the same grade together, however, they don't have class together.

Here are my little men on the 4th of July. Kellen never takes great pictures, he always has a sourpuss face! Anywho, Ryan was working (on nights) so he didn't get to spend the day with us. We didn't do much, but being the super cool mom that I am, I went down to the firework stand, in West Richland of course (cause mortars are legal in West) bought a package of fireworks that fly high! My neighbor and I took turns lighting off our fireworks and neither of us lost a finger! Whew!

So me and the boys went to LA to visit my brother Ricky! We spent the day at Santa Monica Beach, went to Disneyland for a day, Ragging waters water park another day, and hit a Dodgers game. We all had a ton of fun! Though the boys fought like cats and dogs, they completely enjoyed themselves!

In August we rented a little house on the beach for a week in Lincoln City, Or. It was a blast and nice to get away! Ryan's sister Deana and her friend met us there and stayed a couple days too! The boys couldn't get enough of the beach. We bought some skim boards and Ryan and Kaden tried to do that. The water was of course freezing, but that's the Pacific Ocean for ya. Poor little Kellen looks like he got left out, but in fact he's there on Ryan's back. Couldn't get him to look at the camera. No surprise there!

Well my baby turned 1, I can't believe how fast one year has gone by! He really didn't care for his cake to much. Kellen is almost walking and is eating big people food now! Ya, no more baby jars to buy! He's says dadadada, mmmmmmmm (that's mama just incase you were wondering) and bbbbbbbbbbb (bottle) Shakes his head yes and no. He weighs in at 24 lbs and is 30 1/2 inches long. He's a big boy, but pretty sure the lbs will start coming off as soon as he starts running......

So here we are at the beginning of school 2010. Kaden started his new school 2 day ago, and was so nervous cause he was going to be the new kid in class. He did well and made a couple new friends. Of course when I asked what there names were he couldn't remember. He likes his teacher and gets to play with Michael our neighbor at recess.

So now that I've posted all of this, I hope it uploads ok to the computer! Hopefully pictures will be with the right captions! If not, oh well! It's been a busy summer!

Kaden started Basketball

Well Kaden started basketball for the 1st time this year. It's pretty interesting to watch. He does ok, but hasn't quite grasped the concept of the game. He basically just wants to stand and shoot baskets. Hasn't figured out that you actually have to block the other person from getting the ball and when you pass the ball you pass it to your teammate and not just hail mary it! Oh well, he'll get it! But for now it's fun to watch! :-)

New Moon

Ok, saw New Moon Thursday @ 6:15! A friend of mine that attends the mormon church, well they were putting something together and she got me, my cousin and some other girlfriends a ticket. So we were blessed! Thank goodness too, cause when we got there at 5:15p, the line for the midnight showings were already wrapped around the building! Yikes!!! Anyway, I so enjoyed the movie and thought it was better then Twilight. Can't wait for the Eclipse release and since my brother Ricky lives in Hollywood and knows some people......if you know what I mean......he's going to work on getting me tickets to the LA premiere!!!! Oh, I so hope so!! :-)

Kaden 1st day of 1st grade

Kaden had good 1st week of school. They really haven't started doing anything yet at school. Just getting to know each other. He has a lot of friends from his Kindergarden class in his new class. He loves the fact that he gets to ride the bus this year! I of course had to meet him at his school the first cause I'm a paranoid mom! He did indeed make it to school ok and to his class! :-)

Welcoming Kellen Ryan

Well Kellen Ryan entered into the world on Monday August 17, 2009 @ 1:51a! Weighing in at 8lbs 10.5 oz, and 19 1/2 inches in length! I was admitted to the hospital on the 16th, dilated to a 4! They broke my water and started the patosum (probably spelled that wrong)! About 9:30p I was dilated to a 5 and decided to get my epidural at that time. I was starving since I have not had any food since 10a on Sunday. Since I was being rolled down to the operating room at 8:30a Monday morning I still couldn't eat. Got my tubal,

which was a very interesting experience. And final once I was able to hold down a cracker and some water I was able to eat, FINALLY!!! :-) Anyway, we stayed in the hospital till Wednesday afternoon, and am now home with my other two boys! It's been great, a little low on the sleep but that's to be expected. But when I do sleep, I'm enjoying the fact that I'm comfortable and don't get up every second to go to the bathroom. Kellen has been doing really well, though he doesn't like to sleep on his back. In the last couple days he's gotten up just a couple times in the middle of the night. He takes really good naps and eats very well! Kaden and Kohen are enjoying there baby brother and just love being around him. Kaden mostly! He's a great helper and an awesome big brother!

Baby Shower

Had a wonderful baby shower that my step mother in law thru for me!  Lots of friends and family showed up and got lots of really cute stuff for baby Kellen!  I'm officially 37 weeks now, have a Dr. appointment today, hopefully there has been some action going on down there!  I pray!!! :-) I am so ready for this baby to come.  It's hot, I'm uncomfortable, can't sleep, and my back and feet hurt.  Other than that I've been doing really well.  Just took a trip to Albany, Oregon to watch Ryan in a shooting match.  That was actually a miserable drive, but the stay was nice. It was great to get away for the weekend.  Got some shopping done at the Woodburn Mall, which was great until it started to down pour.  The kids were great, but on the way home they just wanted to be home, so they got a little impatient towards the end of the ride.  That's all for now folks! :-)

4th of July

Well here it is 4th of July!!!!!  Went to watch the fireworks with my parents up on Canal Dr. cause I didn't want to deal with all the people in the park.  Not liking the picture of me so much, kinda looking a little fat!  Haaa since I'm 34 weeks, I guess that's ok! :-) We had a pretty quiet 4th of July, didn't do much cause Ryan had to work that night.  Went swimming at my parents, then home to relax before heading down to watch the festivities.  Kaden and Kohen enjoyed the fireworks and as you can see they enjoyed there popsicles a whole lot!  Ended up getting home about 11:30, which is way past my bedtime, I was completely bushed!!! The pictures of the fireworks didn't turn out as well as I would of hoped.  Still trying to figure out my new fancy camera.  Anyway, hope everyone had a very wonderful 4th of July!  And thank you to all our military past and present who have fought and continue to fight for our FREEDOM!!!
